So I know we are getting into 2025 properly now but I wanted to share some of my crochet goals for the year. I’m new to the crochet blogging sphere so please give me some time to get used to it and figure out my schedule and what I plan on posting.
Let’s get into it though. While writing this I’m going to try and insert as much of my personality as possible. I feel like I come across better in my own voice rather than in writing but I’m giving it a go!
Goals:
1. I want to start writing my own patterns
I know I have technically done this already with The Easy Jumper. But I want to get better and I want to start creating more intricate designs and try my hand at selling patterns. Don’t worry, I’m planning so far to keep all the patterns that I post on here to be free.
2. I wont to try to avoid getting bogged down with follower counts.
I know that for me this one will be quite hard. I’m always thinking about it, but I really just want to have fun with crocheting.
3. Finish some 2024 WIPS.
So I have about 3 projects from 2024 that I really want to finish, one of them being my temperature blanket haha. Ooops!
4. I want to follow my inspiration and have the confidence in myself that I can do it.
I have some crazy project ideas for this year that I really want to follow through on without getting distracted, but I know that for a couple of them I will need to practice before actually making them. I just have an image in my head of how I want them to be and I want them to turn out that way.
Look, listen, I know it’s not a lot of goals but I don’t want ot be puttin excess pressure on myself and get burnt out by March. I may adjust my goals for how I’m feeling throughout the year.
