This cardigan was inspired by @cosmiccreations.n.designs I saw their cardigan and fell in love with the idea of a long cardigan, and then I saw Happy Place yarn by Toni at TL Yarns Crafts and knew that I had to use it for this cardigan.
I will admit that I did put this project down for a while, because I originally had an idea in my head but then I ran out of the almond colour, so I ended up putting it down for way too long.
A couple of weeks ago I had an idea of how I could attach my square and triangles together to finish off the cardigan and here it is:
The thing is, I’m stuck in two minds about the hem. Either I do one or I don’t. I quite like that it doesn’t have a hem but then again I do think it would look neater with one. Maybe inspiration will come to me at a later date.
One thing that’s keeping me from doing a hem is because it’s a bit like me, not neat around the edges.
What I’m actually trying to say in this post is that it’s ok to drop a project and come back to it at a later date. You might come back with better idea, or you even might need to frog it completely and either way it’s absolutely fine.
