I adore this jumper, it’s one of the first things I designed myself and I love the fit, I love the colours and I love that I made it.
Below is the pattern for this top if you are also interested in making it
This is a customisable pattern to be made as big or as small as you want. I wanted something that was fitted and that I could wear in Spring and Autumn.

Pattern
The yarn I used to make this was Rainbow Bamboo by Hobbii, it’s a 4ply weighted yarn and it’s super soft! This pattern is made to measure. I’m a UK size 16 so I’m wearing a large.
This is the first pattern I’ve written so if you have any questions or ammendments that think need making please let me know!

What you’ll need:
4 balls of Rainbow Bamboo yarn in 2 colours
4mm hook
4.5mm hook
Scissors
Stitch markers
Terms:
HDC: Half double crochet
SC: Single Crochet
SCBLO: Single Crochet Back Loop Only
st: Stitch
sm: Stitch marker
PM: Place marker
Ch: Chain
slpst: Slip Stitch
HDCFP: Hald double crochet front post.
Sizing:
63 (S), 68 (M), 73 (L)
Front panel:
Hem with colour 1
Row 1: Chain 11
Row 2: Single crochet into the second chain from the hook and into the remaining chains. Ch1 and turn
Row 3: Single crochet into the backloop of each of the SCs in the previous row. Ch1 and turn.
Row 4 – Row 73: Repeat row 3. Change to C2, Ch1 and turn length ways.
Main body:
Row 1: SC across lengthways across the hem. Ch2 and turn.
Row 2: HDC across. Ch2 and turn.
Row 3 – 10: HDC across. On the last HDC of row 10 change to C1. Ch2 and turn.
Row 11: HDC across. On the last st change to C2. Ch2 and turn.
Row 12: HDC across. On the last st change to C1. Ch2 and turn.
Row 13 – 22: HDC across. On the last st change to C2. Ch2 and turn.
Row 23: HDC across. On the last st change to C1. Ch2 and turn.
Row 24: HDC across. On the last st change to C2. Ch2 and turn.
Row 25 – 34: HDC across. On the last st change to C1. Ch2 and turn.
Row 35: HDC across. On the last st change to C2. Ch2 and turn.
Row 36: HDC across. On the last st change to C1. Ch2 and turn.
Row 37 – 46: HDC across. On the last st change to C2. PM
Shoulders:
Count 29 sts across and place a stich marker in the 30th. do the same on the other side. You should now have 14sts for the neck hole.
First shoulder:
Row 47: HDC across to st before sm. On last st change to C1. Ch2 and turn.
Row 48: HDC across. On the last st change to C2. Ch2 and turn.
Row 49 – 53: HDC across. Tie off and leave a tail.
Second shoulder:
Repeat rows 47 – 53.
Back Panel:
Repeat the front panel up to and including row 46. On the back panel there is no neck line so no need for counting sts.
Row 47: HDC across. On last st change to C2. Ch2 and turn.
Row 48: HDC across. On last st change to C1. Ch2 and turn.
Row 49 – 53: HDC across. Tie off and leave a tail.
Seaming:
With WS facing out. Seam the front and back panels together across the shoulders using the remaining tail and a slpst across.
Still with WS facing out put the jumper on and place markers where you want the arms to be. Make sure that they are in the same place on both sides.
Slpst from the hem up to the stitch marker. Be in mind that the HDCs wil need 3 slpsts every 2 HDCs, meaning put 1 slpst in the first HDCs and then 2 slpsts in the next HDC up to the stitch marker.
Arms:
SC around the arm hole slpst into first SC. This counts as Row 1.
Row 2 – 15: Ch2, HDC around. At the end of each round slpst into top of ch2. At the end of row 15 change to C1 and ch2
Row 16 – 30: HDC around. At the end of each round slpst into the top of ch2. At the end of row 30 change to C2 and ch2
Row 31 – 40: HDC around. At the end of each round slpst into the top of the ch2. At the end of row 40 change to C1
Cuff:
With C1 ch11. SC into the second chain from the hook and down (10) slpstitch into the next 2 HDCs of the arm.
Row 2: SCBLO up (10) Ch1 turn. Make sure to skip the slpsts and SC into the SCs
Row 3: SCBLO down (10) slpst into the next 2 HDCs of the arm
Repeat rows 2 and 3 around until you reach the last HDC of the arm. Slpst the cuff together and tie off.
Repeat for the above steps for the second arm.
Neckline:
Join yarn anywhere into the neckline.
With C1 slpst around the neckline. Slpst into first slpst. Ch2
Row 2: HDC around. At the end of the round change to C2. Ch2
Row 3: HDC into first st, HDCFP into second st and repeat around the neck. Slpst into ch2 and tie off.
