May Crochet Challenge – Learn a New Stitch #3

For this “Learn a New Stitch” I decided to go with the Slanted Stitch:

And as you can see I ended up playing with it by alternating the rows with Simple Stitches towards the top.
I don’t know how I feel about this stitch to be completely honest. It takes me time to do it and I feel clunky when doing it. It is really pretty and gives quite a cool effect but I just can’t get my fingers around it.

    I love the slanted stitch especially when paired with simple stitch

      I really like it too, but i find it so hard to keep track of which I’ve just done 😅

        Yeah that would be tough. Tunisian crochet is so fun but it already looks so mashed up to me when I’m doing it. It’s easy to lose stitches

        It really is so easy to lose stitches, I end up having to count my stitches every couple of rows
