May Crochet Challenge – Stash Bust

I’m so proud of myself, so during this challenge I’ve used up 1 full ball of yarn and 2.5 partially used yarns that I had.
You can see these in the shawl that I made and the tunisian crochet experimenting I did. Ok granted there is still some of the grey left but not all that much!

I’ve also started 2 new projects, one of the projects is with yarn that I’ve not had for too long and the other is with a yarn that I’ve had for over a year!
I would love to say that I haven’t bought any yarn but that would of course be a lie…oops…

But the point is that I’ve been using up the yarn that I have and that’s exciting to me. I’m slowly trying to whittle down the amount of yarn that I have, so please if you have any suggestions please let me know!

Stripey scarves with DK or lighter held double – you use up twice as much yarn, and you get fun marls depending what colours you choose! They can be donated if you end up with too many to wear.

Ooo I hadn’t thought about holding two fingering weights together! That is a great idea, thank you!!
